WHAT IT IS

Students participate in a Canadore College program Information Technology Technician

The dual credit counts towards their high school diploma and their Level 1 Apprenticeship. Upon successful completion, the student earns 2 additional secondary school credits.

WHO IT’S FOR

Students who need learning opportunities outside of the high school curriculum and who would benefit from a college online experience.

HOW IT HELPS

Students have the opportunity to: Earn high school credits while studying college curriculum Gain experience that will help them with their postsecondary education or Level 1 Apprenticeship Get a head start on learning and training for their future careers

IT Technicians support clients in their use of computer applications and operating systems software. Skilled apprentices install, configure and maintain client work stations and network servers connected by a local area network. Earn 10 credits towards Ontario Secondary School Diploma, including 2 co-operative education placements in a related workplace. Enjoy a solid basic training in computer engineering: - on-line Level 1 trade school curriculum through Canadore College . Program currently located at: cybridge @ George Harvey CI
